Plain language summary

We collect information you give us (name, email, phone) and information about how you use the platform (activity completions, progress). We use it to deliver the service and send you relevant communications. We do not sell your personal information, and we never share mobile numbers for anyone else’s marketing. Family members and activity directors never see the content of what you write or reflect on — only your engagement status.

1. Who We Are

Relationship Foundry, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website ournextconversation.com and the Our Next Conversation membership platform. Our contact email is contact us.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide: Name, email address, phone number, and any content you write within the platform (reflections, messages, voice recordings).

Information we collect automatically: Chapter completion status, activity progress, login timestamps, and basic device/browser information for technical purposes.

Information from family members or gifters: When someone purchases a membership as a gift, they provide the recipient’s name, email and optional phone number, as well as any celebration content (photos, written messages, voice recordings) they create for that person.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver the Our Next Conversation adventure experience
  • To send you login links, PIN codes, and account notifications
  • To notify family members when an activity is completed (engagement status only — never content)
  • To send the weekly newsletter, if you subscribe
  • To send retest reminders for wellness assessments, if you opt in
  • To communicate with you about your membership or questions
  • To improve the platform based on aggregate usage patterns

4. Privacy of Storyteller Content

What travelers (recipients) write, reflect on, or record within the platform belongs to them alone. This is a core design principle, not just a policy.

  • Family members (gifters) receive engagement notifications only — not content
  • Activity directors at partner communities see participation rates and completion data only — never individual content
  • Our team accesses individual content only when specifically requested for support purposes

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

No mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are used to deliver sign-in codes and the account notifications described in section 6, and are shared only with the messaging provider that transmits those messages for us.

  • Service providers who run parts of the product for us, under contract and only on our instructions: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (text message delivery), Stripe (payments), and Sanity (the content our writers author). None of them may use the data for their own purposes.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
  • Business transfers: If the company is acquired or merged, user information may transfer to the new entity under the same privacy commitments.

6. Text Messages

We text people who have asked us to. Reply STOP to any message and we stop, permanently and for every kind of message. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply from your own carrier.

What we send: six-digit sign-in codes when you ask for one, a note when the person telling the stories finishes a week, a note when somebody answers a question you asked or it is your turn to guess, and reminders for dates your family has asked us to remember. We do not send promotional or advertising texts.

How you opt in: you enter your own mobile number on our sign-in screen and tap the button beneath the consent wording, or you set it in your notification settings. Because memberships are usually bought as a gift, the purchaser may enter the recipient’s number at checkout and must confirm they have that person’s permission; the recipient controls their own settings from the moment they first sign in, and their own consent replaces the purchaser’s the first time they sign in by text. We record what was agreed to and when.

How often: sign-in codes only when requested; progress updates at most once a week by default; everything else when the thing actually happens. Everything we send by text is also available by email and on the website, so nothing is reachable only by phone. Full detail is in our messaging policy.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your membership is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing us.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact us.

9. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and essential cookies for platform function. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect platform functionality.

10. Children

Our Next Conversation is designed for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active members of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
